Do you really want the truth about personal branding. The thing that no one tells you because it’s either too hard to do or too hard to explain.
Do you?.. Ok ok, I’ll stop building the suspence, here it is:
Personal Branding is not about your nice website or blog, how many millions you make, your successes in business or whatever… those things I just mentioned are just that.. ‘things’.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not naive.. I know that these ‘things’ can and do help in building your personal brand, because these give you some leverage, BUT…
Personal Branding is really about HOW MUCH VALUE you can bring to your potential prospects’ lives.
Think about it.. why do people follow Tony Robbins? Yes he’s successful, yes he’s a multi-millionaire but he’s not selling how to make money stuff. He’s selling personal growth stuff for crying out loud.
But people listen to what he has to say because everytime he speaks, he’s adding value to his community. That’s the ultimate leverage in my opinion because he’s not worried about getting his brand ‘out-there’, he’s worried about bringing people into his brand by becoming an attractive person.
…and how do you become an attractive person, simple, give more value, give away things that can help people right NOW..
Do that, and you’ll never have to worry about personal branding again. Everything else that I mentioned earlier, your website, your blog, your success, the money you’ve made, will be like icing on the cake.
